Neutral Tones

So for today's outfit I took inspiration from the beautiful Olivia Palermo, in particular her wedding dress. This look is rather girly and not something I'm used to however I really liked the neutral colour pallet and the way the outfit just came together with minimal effort. I unfortunately still do not have access to my usual camera but I think the pictures came out just fine all the same! My mum was also pretty happy with her ootd and so I took a few snaps of it too. I think this look is casual enough to wear day to day but by simply adding some statement jewelry and a pair of nude heels it would be perfect for a more dressy occasion! Although I am a lover of my monochromatic looks I think its fun to mix it up every now and again. Fashion is meant to be fun and often times the best outfits come together when the least amount of thought is put into them! The dress is from RiverIsland and by itself is a beautiful piece but pairing it with a cropped sweater completely changes up the look! I hope you like the post feel free to comment and follow me on Bloglovin (let me know if you do and I'll be sure to follow back!)

Checkered

So its been 10 days since I last posted and no I am not the least bit happy with myself about it!! I really wanted to get into a steady cycle of producing at least 2 posts a week but unfortuneately this just hasn't happened! I do however have a slight excuse that being my boyfriend/person who takes all my blog photos is gone inter-railing for 3 weeks so until he gets back I am not too sure what I am going to do! Neverthess I did have a little post in reserve for times like this and here it is! The outfit is a suuuper casual one pretty much my idea of a lazy day outfit as I am not a fan of tracksuit bottoms. I wasnt overly pleased with how the outfit photographed but hey beggers cant be choosers and for now it will have to do! I will leave the outfit details below and provide links where possible!!

Blushing

So I am officially falling in love with colour. I'm usually not one for anything colourful as in my wardrobe consitsts of 90% black and white which a dash of maroon and forest greens here and there. I suppose I just feel most comfortable in darker more monotone attire, and plus as I like to say when everything is black everything matches! Recently however I have been loving pastel shades particularly blush pink. Although I havent bought much yet I have my eye on a couple of things and am hoping to slowly introduce some colour to my wardrobe. I do find pastel shades a tad girly so I plan to team them up with darker accessories like a leather jacket or my docs. Anyways heres a few pieces that I think would be perfect if your looking to try out the trend.
