Filtered

Hey guys so I am so happy to eventually have a new post up! I wanted to style up these distressed jeans that I purchased in Forever21 recently. They are a kind of mom jean/ boyfriend jean hybrid as they don't sit up as high on the waist as your traditional mom jean. I would suggest trying on these jeans in store as I have found Forever21 jeans to run quite big in the past! I wanted to keep this look super simple. This is totally something I would wear to college as its comfortable and easy to just throw on in the morning         (especially if you have a 9am lecture!). The top and bag are both from Penny's and were super inexpensive. The backpack is great but a little bit small for college but I find it so much more comfortable to carry around than a handbag or satchel. Keep an eye out for my next post where I style up these jeans for a night out look. Anyways thank you for checking out my blog, I will list all the items featured below!

SilverLinings

Today's outfit features my new Primark Longline Blazer. I absolutely love this item and had to travel to Dublin to get it! The outfit is pretty much all Primark with the exception of the jeans which are from RiverIsland. The weather here in Ireland has been pretty gloomy for the past few days so I have gone back to basics in all black. I defiantly feel most comfortable in black as I feel that it can look ultra chic with minimal effort. Both the blazer and the top are a sort of crepe material and hang really nicely on the body. The thing i love about this outfit is that all the pieces are super affordable yet it has an expensive feel! I also added the silver socks to add a subtle pop! I wont be able to link the items as they are all from Pennys but they are all recent purchases so should still be available in stores!

Thank you for checking out my blog!

Neutral Tones

So for today's outfit I took inspiration from the beautiful Olivia Palermo, in particular her wedding dress. This look is rather girly and not something I'm used to however I really liked the neutral colour pallet and the way the outfit just came together with minimal effort. I unfortunately still do not have access to my usual camera but I think the pictures came out just fine all the same! My mum was also pretty happy with her ootd and so I took a few snaps of it too. I think this look is casual enough to wear day to day but by simply adding some statement jewelry and a pair of nude heels it would be perfect for a more dressy occasion! Although I am a lover of my monochromatic looks I think its fun to mix it up every now and again. Fashion is meant to be fun and often times the best outfits come together when the least amount of thought is put into them! The dress is from RiverIsland and by itself is a beautiful piece but pairing it with a cropped sweater completely changes up the look! I hope you like the post feel free to comment and follow me on Bloglovin (let me know if you do and I'll be sure to follow back!)

mmm...tea and scones!

Checkered

So its been 10 days since I last posted and no I am not the least bit happy with myself about it!! I really wanted to get into a steady cycle of producing at least 2 posts a week but unfortuneately this just hasn't happened! I do however have a slight excuse that being my boyfriend/person who takes all my blog photos is gone inter-railing for 3 weeks so until he gets back I am not too sure what I am going to do! Neverthess I did have a little post in reserve for times like this and here it is! The outfit is a suuuper casual one pretty much my idea of a lazy day outfit as I am not a fan of tracksuit bottoms. I wasnt overly pleased with how the outfit photographed but hey beggers cant be choosers and for now it will have to do! I will leave the outfit details below and provide links where possible!!

WhiteWashed

I dont have too much to say about this outfit other than it really captures the look that I am currently trying to go for, simple, minimalistic and chic. I absolutely LOVE the heels! I am a shoe lover and have a particular attraction to anything Black! haha. This outfit is perfect for a night out or for a fancier summertime event. Through on a white blazer to make the look more night-time appropriate or to simply achieve the "co-ord" look! Keeping the jewellery simple adds to the clean cut look, I've just added a few silver bands from Primark. As always I will list all the items below!

Floral

So todays outfit is actually one which I wore on my trip to Barcelona (minus the boots!). Unfortuneatley I didnt get to photograph it while I was there so  thought id just recreate the look as I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I wore this outfit to Sonar, a music festival which was on in Barca while I was over there. It was a night time event and it was indoors however seeing as it was warm even at night I wanted to keep the look breathable, something comfortable that I could dance around all night in! The floral dress is from Forever21. It's pretty sheer so I wore shorts underneath. Its a perfect piece to wear as a bikini cover-up to a pool party! I kept the jewlery to a minimum as sweat + suncreen really tarnishes your jewlery ( a lesson i learned the hard way!). I will list all the items down below and provide links where possible! Anyways thanks for checking out my blog!!

Primark AW14

So I am personally never a huge fan of Primarks Spring Summer collection. Althought they do bring out some decent pieces I feel that these are far and few between. On the other hand I feel that their AW collection is always on point and it looks like this year is no exception. Having seen some of the press release photos I just couldn't wait to do this post. The collection seems to heavily play on some trends that we have already seen emerge this year such as pastel pink and oversized coats. I also noticed two pairs of thigh high suede boots which I am pretty much drooling over! and a ton of different textures from fur to scuba and plenty of knits! Check out the images below for yourself..
WARNING....You might want to buy everthing!!

Ughhh sooo amazing!! Hurry up Winter!!
haha
