Floral

So todays outfit is actually one which I wore on my trip to Barcelona (minus the boots!). Unfortuneatley I didnt get to photograph it while I was there so  thought id just recreate the look as I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I wore this outfit to Sonar, a music festival which was on in Barca while I was over there. It was a night time event and it was indoors however seeing as it was warm even at night I wanted to keep the look breathable, something comfortable that I could dance around all night in! The floral dress is from Forever21. It's pretty sheer so I wore shorts underneath. Its a perfect piece to wear as a bikini cover-up to a pool party! I kept the jewlery to a minimum as sweat + suncreen really tarnishes your jewlery ( a lesson i learned the hard way!). I will list all the items down below and provide links where possible! Anyways thanks for checking out my blog!!

Slow Skies

So last night I got to see James Vincent McMorrows gig in The Set Theatre . The gig itself was sooo good! ( he is WOW, his voice is WOW....WOW!) It make me super sad that I dont sound even half as good as that! ( my singing voice = nails on a chalk board haha). One of the high-lights of the show for me was the support group, Slow Skies, an indie folk band based in Dublin. The lead singer Karen Sheridan's delicate voice kept the audience transfixed through-out the performance. The simplicity of the performance was what was so captivating to me. There is noting I admire more than an artist who depends solely on their music to capture their audience. No fancy bells and whistles just  music! ....refreshing!
