Spotlight On : Pull & Bear

So I've decided to start a little series in which I take a look at some of the high-street/ online stores that are killin' it in the style stakes! I'm not too sure how often I will be adding installments, I suppose I will do a post if the brands/stores collection inspires me to do so. I want to kick this thing off with Pull & Bear whose current AW collection is ticking all the right boxes in my book! I have never exactly shopped in P&B all that much as in the past I have found that they tend to cater to those with a more laid back, casual style, think comfy jumpers, printed t's and jeans (not that there is anything wrong with that but its just not very "me"). However over the past while I have found myself wandering in there more and more often. Last week I popped in and was blown away by the amount of pieces that were just calling my name. I didn't end up buying anything there and then (I'm trying to put a stop to my impulse buying habit!) however I couldn't help picking up one particular coat online a few days later! So here are a few of my favorite bits which are all either in-store or online now! I will link everything just in-case you see something you like!

So this is the coat that I purchased. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in store. I am a huge fan of oversized coats at the moment and love that this one comes all the way down to about mid shin. It defiantly has a boyish feel so if your a fan of a more feminine silhouette this is probably not the best option for you.

I was totally lusting after these black boots but unfortunately I couldn't justify owning seven pairs of black ankle boots! But if you are looking for a new pair then I would highly recommend these. They look super sleek on which is something I like in boots. The oversized flap details adds another dimension to the look without adding bulk. The best part is that they are currently on sale for €69.99!
Available Here!

This top is totally Acne inspired which is reason enough to buy it but the statement is just perfect for those of us out their who love out Instagram or Twitter! #loveit
P.S. it could totally double as a Christmas jumper for those of us who aren't diggin the reindeer and baubles look!
Available here!

Another jacket that I just had to add in! This is soo comfy and soft in person and is sure to keep you warm during the cold winter months! Lumberjack chic at its best!
Available here!

Nike Air Forse 1's anyone?!! I'm slowly getting in to the whole fashionable trainer look and have to say if I was do rock the trend it would be in a pair of Air Forces. But if your into the look but don't want to drop €80 on a pair then these are a great dupe!
Available here!

This jacket is another favorite of mine. It defiantly is giving me Acne vibez and I love it! It has sports luxe feel with the hoodie-esque look. It is on the pricier side at €100 but if youve got the cash I think this is a super cool piece that can be both dressed up and down.
Available here

This last piece is perfect for winter. Pair it with some tights or even thigh-high booties (but make sure they aren't leather! leather on leather = oh no honey!) I'm diggin' the burgundy mixed with the pleather especially in this shirt dress style. I also think that this could look super cute with a shirt underneath if you want to layer the look.
Available here

I hope you enjoyed this post. Just thought I'd try something different! All images are courtesy of the Pull & Bear website. Feel free to let me know what pieces your loving from the collection down below!

What Ever

Hey guys so I'm back with the second half of this post. For this look I wanted to style up these jeans for a night out look. I of course went with all black which is pretty much all I wear especially for a night on the town ( I don't even think I own going out dress that isn't black!) This look is perfect if you want to go for something different than your typical dress or playsuit and is great for the colder months as it keeps you covered from head to toe! The top, clutch and heels are all from Newlook and the longline blazer is from Primark. If you wanted to achieve a more feminine silhouette you could add a belt or even switch out the boyfriend cut for a more fitted trouser or even a pencil skirt.
Seeing as the look its self is pretty simple you could play up your makeup to add some drama to the look! I think a cranberry eye and lip would add an effortlessly cool vibe to this look! If your looking for some makeup inpo I would recommend checking out Carli Bybel on YouTube. This girls is totally stunning and has quickly become one of my favorite Beauty Volggers.
Anyways thanks for checking out my blog!

Filtered

Hey guys so I am so happy to eventually have a new post up! I wanted to style up these distressed jeans that I purchased in Forever21 recently. They are a kind of mom jean/ boyfriend jean hybrid as they don't sit up as high on the waist as your traditional mom jean. I would suggest trying on these jeans in store as I have found Forever21 jeans to run quite big in the past! I wanted to keep this look super simple. This is totally something I would wear to college as its comfortable and easy to just throw on in the morning         (especially if you have a 9am lecture!). The top and bag are both from Penny's and were super inexpensive. The backpack is great but a little bit small for college but I find it so much more comfortable to carry around than a handbag or satchel. Keep an eye out for my next post where I style up these jeans for a night out look. Anyways thank you for checking out my blog, I will list all the items featured below!

All that that glitters isn't gold

So to be honest I didn't even realize that this had posted to my blog! I have my Ployvore and Blogger linked so whenever I post to Polyvore it automatically posts here. I've been super busy with college at the moment. I'm studying marketing and have to do an internship next year so I've been doing a ton of research into places that offer them. I'd love to do a fashion internship and have my sights set on London but as you can imagine it's pretty difficult to secure yourself a year long, paid internship in the fashion industry!
Anyways I've been loving Kim Kardashians style at the moment. You can say what you want about the girl but she sure has style! Haha. But I suppose when you've got as much money as she does it would be kind of hard not to look good! So this look is a bit of an ode to Kim K herself! I adore the shoes! They are the exact ones Kylie featured on her Instagram a while back. All the pieces are wayy out of my price range but a girl can dream right..?
If you want some more Kardashian inspired looks I would recommend checking out Styledbybreanna on Instagram.
That's it from me! As always thanks for checking out my blog!

Cemented

So this little post is coming to you a bit later than I had planned simply because I forgot to charge my camera before going to take these shots and therefore had to do the whole thing again! But anyways better late than never right?...
So the weathers been getting a lot colder here in Ireland as we near the end of October and so I was on the search for the perfect winter jacket and I think I've found just that in this beauty from Penny's! The dropped shoulder gives it a comfortable slouchy feel that I just love and the colour is just stunning (a light grey with baby blue hues!). I wanted to give this outfit a kind of greyscale look so I teamed it with this oversized turtle neck jumper and this super cool furry bag!
(both Pennys!)
The faux leather trousers are also Pennys ( God I'm going a bit Pennys crazy in this post! haha). I love the tougher more urban feel that they give to this comfy casual look. I also love how the different textures work together. Each item is pretty much a statement piece on its own and yet keeping everything greyscale allows it to all tie together seamlessly. Finally the boots are from a shop on Henrys Street called NoName as far as I can remember! Most of the pieces, bar the trousers, are all new purchases and should be still available in store! The jacket also comes in a baby, dusty type pink and is just stunning if you wanted to opt. for a little more colour!
I've also really wanted to mix up my shooting locations recently as I think the old back garden shots can get a little boring and overdone!
Anyways as always thanks so much for checking out my blog, I really do appreciate it!

#EAT

So I know its been ages since I last posted but between starting back to college working on he weekends and my boyfriend (who takes all my blog photos) moving to London for college I really just haven't had a spare second! So seeing as I am still trying to figure out how I am going to do my photos from now on I thought I'd have a route through my camera to see if I could find any photos that I haven't yet posted. In doing so I came across these few photos I took when we went out for lunch to this cool little Restaurant/ Salad Bar in Kilkenny called #EAT.

The restaurant itself is located on Friary Street in Kilkenny and is a relatively new spot. This was the first time I had eaten there and I have to say I was very impressed. The salad bar itself is a pretty cool spot decorated with a minimalist atheistic which really emphasizes the whole clean eating vibe. I ordered a goats cheese and red pepper sandwich and Cuan had something with blue cheese in it (I'm a tad hazy on the details as it was quite a while ago!) We also ordered a soup, tomato soup which was delicious. Overall the food was great and it wasn't all that expensive and so in my opinion the restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in the Kilkenny area.

Thank you for checking out my blog!

YachtClub

Firstly no I am not a member of a Yacht Club but if I was this is how I would dress on a daily basis!haha. I wanted see how many different ways i could style up these amazing SheInside trousers and this had to be one of my favourite looks. I think it looks expensive and chic, perfect for any occasion. I personally just wore it to town but you could totally wear it to a special occasion, dinner or even on a night out (teamed with some heels of course ;). The longline blazer is from Primark and is one of my current wardrobe staples. I find it adds a sophisticated touch to any look! One of my favourite things about this look is the sunglasses which are from Folkster a local vintage boutique which has such amazing pieces and has completely blown up over the last year! They do have an online store which i will link below so you can check them out for yourself! one note I will make in relation to the trousers it that they are quite see through so be sure to wear a top/jacket that will cover yo'tush when wearing them! haha.
Check out my previous post to see how else I styled up this blazer!
