Sky High

So this my second official outfit post and I'm pretty happy with it! Luckily the sun came out today in Dublin so I got to shed some layers! I still find it pretty awkward getting my photo taken in public but luckily we found this quiet little park up near Whitchurch to get some photos in.
The outfit is typical of my everyday style. No matter how hard I try to introduce colour to my wardrobe I keep going back to black! I'm all about highwaisted jeans you'd hardly ever catch me in anything else and I'm loving wearing them with crop tops at the moment!
I will try to leave links to everything down below in case you want to check them out :)

Haulin'

Soo summer is almost here and that means one thing...time to go holiday clothes shopping! So I popped into town today not really expecting to find a huge amount but luckily I managed to pick up a few bits that I am super happy with! I have to say the high street is killing it in the style stakes at the minute! Pennys had some great holiday pieces, the swimwear that they have in is FAB!( especially the brazilian bikini bottoms if like myself you like a bit of a cheeky'r look!). I do appologize for the poor image quality I had to take the photos on my iPhone but I think they turned out okay-ish!
I will more than likely post outfit post featuring these items in the near future (fingers crossed!).

So summer is fast approaching which I am super excited. For me summer means holidays and getting out of this freezing ass country! haha, ohh what I would give to live somewhere with actual seasons not just eternal wind and rain!
I am loving the earthy look (kind of Coachella inspired I suppose!) its soo effortless which is one of the main reasons why I love summer fashion. Just through on a simple maxi dress and sandals and your good to go! I am lusting after a pair of Birkenstocks at the moment (there's a sentance I never thought I'd say!!). They are pretty much the marmite of the fashion world at the moment but I have to say I am digging the trend especially the platformed version like the Topshop ones above.

Dreamin'of Coachella

I feel like Coachella in itself has become a sort of undeclared fashion week for street style. I have personally come across more fashion posts in relation to the event than ones actually talking about the music. Its become a hub for fashion bloggers with many of the top bloggers being invited to the event to report on all things fashion. I can't say I'm complaining I love checking out the latest looks from the event. I plan on attending both Sonar (Barcelona) and Electric Picnic (Ireland) this summer and I have already began planning outfits for both!

Good music, Great Fashion and Good Vibes, what more could you want!

C'est Chic

So recently I've been noticing a lot of European tourists around town (particularly French and German) and I have to say I'm in love with their dress sense. It's just so effortless, very minimal and classic. I read an article a while back (which for the life of me I cant find!) in which the author commented on the over the top attire of many fashion week attendees over the past few fashion weeks and I have to say I had to agree with her. In the article she pointed out how the majority of the French bloggers, journalists, stylists and so on, who attended sported a much more understated look that didn't in anyway scream "Look at me I'm here attending fashion week, take pictures of me".
I defiantly think I identify more with this effortlessly chic look. It is just far more appealing to me. No over done makeup, crazy prints and bold colours, I really think we ought to start paying more attention to French street style cause those girls know whats up! haha.
I found the pictures below here and I think that they perfectly illustrate the simplistic yet interesting nature of French fashion.

Killin'it

So I'm never one to crush on celebrities I tend to draw my fashion inspiration from bloggers and youtubers. I suppose I just feel that anyone would look flawless if they had the money to not only buy a fabulous wardrobe but to hire a personal stylist! However recently I have to say I am loving Kylie Jenner's style. It's just the perfect mix of Boho, Soft Grunge and structured body hugging pieces. Of course she has access to a serious wardrobe and has a stylist to advise her along the way but I defiantly feel that she has a more individual style than her sisters. Shes also pretty much the queen of Tumblr/Instagram two of my most loved social networking sites. Basically I think she's FIERCE!!

Just a quick Polyvore edit. Trying to get out of the monotone colour scheme. As you can probably tell thats not going so well...!! haha.
Jeans are the Topshop Joni Jeans which I practically live in!(Primark do a pretty simular style for half the price if your looking for a bargain). Links to the other pieces are available via my polyvore page.
